I'm reading way too many things.

The Golden Ratio- a book about the number phi in history

Eucharist Bishop Church: Unity in the Divine Eucharist and the Bishop in the First Century Church by Met. John Zizioulas

The Stripping of the Altars by Eamon Duffy- on the English Reformation

The Children of Hurin by Tolkien

I read according to mood, but it also means I don't always finish books.

Well, I'd like to buy Brother Odd by Dean Koontz - nothing spiritual about it, despite its title. I'm just in the mood for escapism.

I'm also reading a book of prayers edited by Jim Palmer, which I love. (The Pocket Book of Prayer) and am waiting for an Amazon.com delivery of Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom (or something like that) by John O'Donohue

I am currently reading 3 books.
The Trouble with Islam Today by Irshad Manji,
The Dark Night of the Soul by St. John of the Cross, and
Aliens: Original Sin by...I can't remember the author. (It's part of the ongoing Aliens - as in the movie - series.

Anne Rice rocks!
Was Jesus the Lord a work of fiction?

I am also reading Karen Armstrong's The Battle for God: A History of Fundamentalism (but I've taken a little bit of a break from it. It's kinda intense), and I've recently picked up Karen Armstrong's Muhammad.

(I think i've got too many books on my plate!)

christ the lord was fiction. its narrated by an eight year old Jesus which was interesting.

Cool! If I didn't have such a large "books-I've-gotta-read" pile I'd pick it up!
Tell me, does it touch upon either the vampires or Ramses (the mummy), because in both other storylines they (both the vampires and mummy) theorize whether Christ could have been a vampire or something else.

I also want to pick up a copy of Brian Lumely's newest Necroscope book:
Necroscrope: The Touch
